• Samples of neurological tissue and cerebrospinal fluid, frozen, paraffin-embedded, in formalin, and cryopreserved, from donors with neurological diseases or controls

• Frozen, paraffin-embedded and fresh samples of tissue from a wide range of pathologies, with adjacent healthy tissue 

• Samples of DNA, serum, plasma and mononuclear cells in peripheral blood, among other fluid samples, from patients with different diseases and controls 

• Legal, ethical and registry advice for the management of biological sample collections 
• Advice on the drawing up of informed consent documents

If specialized scientific advice is required, the Biobank can put interested research groups in contact with medical and scientific professionals from the Campus Clínic, thereby promoting scientific collaboration.

The Biobank team manages the IDIBAPS Freezing and Cryopreservation Service. It has different formats for the storage of samples at different temperatures.
