Organization - Nuclear Medicine Service

The Nuclear Medicine Service of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona carries out healthcare, teaching and research activities at the highest level, and at all times has the patient as its top priority.

At the same time, the Service has the necessary technology to carry out all nuclear medicine scans, which includes a state-of-the-art SPECT/CT unit, which together with the knowledge and professionalism of all the staff, make it possible for the Service to advance and progress day to day.

The work of the Nuclear Medicine Service of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona is carried out in a coordinated manner with the different services of the Hospital. It participates directly in:

• Radiochemistry Laboratory and Radiopharmacy Unit
• Scans and SPECT
• PET
• Densitometry
• Biomedical Engineering
• Therapy

The Nuclear Medicine Service participates, alongside professionals from other Services, on the following Committees:
