The Imaging Diagnostic Center

The Imaging Diagnostic Center (CDI) is responsible for carrying out the studies corresponding to the specialties of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

The studies carried out at the CDI are not only morphological, but also functional, both in their diagnostic and therapeutic aspects.

The CDI is made up of two Services:

The CDI works in coordination with all the Institutes of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. At the same time, it leads an extensive research and teaching program.

Team of professionals

More than 260 highly qualified professionals work at the CDI, including nuclear physicians, radiopharmaceutical teams, biomedical engineers, radiologists specialized in seven subspecialties (abdomen, thorax/cardio, breast, musculoskeletal, interventional, genitourinary and neuroradiology), nursing staff, senior diagnostic imaging technicians, nursing assistant care technicians, healthcare assistants and administrative and management staff.
