Nuclear Medicine Service

The Nuclear Medicine Service is part of the Diagnostic Imaging Center, together with the Radiology Service.

The Nuclear Medicine Service was created more than 40 years ago. Imaging techniques have developed dramatically in recent years and are increasingly playing a more relevant role in the diagnostic and therapeutic process of patients. The number of scans carried out is increasing and new, more complex technologies are continuously being incorporated.
