Tuberculosis at the Clínic

Diagnosis, treatment and prevention for a patient with tuberculosis are conducted in a multidisciplinary manner by professionals from different services.

There is a Tuberculosis Committee at the Clínic Barcelona hospital that meets quarterly to review and update the management of tuberculosis.

In the reference area of the Clínic Barcelona hospital, between 20-40 cases of tuberculosis are diagnosed each year. Several hospital professionals are involved in tuberculosis research projects, including observational studies and clinical trials.
