Reading time: 1 min

In cases of lacrimal obstructions, the main symptom is constant watering eye(s). This accumulation of tears can cause blurred vision, itchy eyes, frequent conjunctivitis and irritation of the skin of the eyelid.

If there is an infection, the symptoms depend on the type and severity of the infection, ranging from red, dry eyes to significant pain in the lacrimal area.

Signs of lacrimal system diseases are:

  • Permanently moist eyes with frequent discharge.
  • If there is an infection, there may be redness and swelling of the lacrimal area.
