Diagnosing Incisional Hernia or Eventration

Diagnosis is clinical, but considering the complexity that these conditions often present (multiple recurrence, multiple sacks, prosthetic material, proximity to skeletal frameworks) an imaging test is needed prior to surgery. The most useful test is a CT scan of the abdominal wall.
