The Institute has 55 hospital beds in two general and intermediate care wards. It also has a Day Hospital, a urological diagnosis unit, a therapeutic apheresis unit, hemodialysis (hospital and outpatient), peritoneal dialysis and a clinical trial unit. The external consultation is unified for the  services and each year attends to more than 33,000 visits.

In the field of health care, the ICNU handles nearly 3,500 hospital discharges each year, more than 2,000 surgeries, which include more than 150 kidney and / or pancreas transplants, 200 robotic surgeries, 23,000 hemodialysis sessions, and 15,000 outpatient peritoneal dialysis sessions
