Symptoms of Pneumothorax

Reading time: 1 min

The most characteristic symptom is chest pain, usually in the upper thorax and often accompanied by a certain difficulty in breathing (dyspnoea) and irritating cough. If the pneumothorax is small, these symptoms may disappear during the following 24 hours, even without the symptoms being resolved radiologically.
