As with any chronic disease that progresses gradually and which has no curative treatment, it is essential to understand the disease, learning to live with and adapt to it. This implies the use of orthopaedic devices, properly equipping the house (lifts, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) and relying on the advice of experts and patient associations.
