Symptoms of Fuchs’ endothelial dystrophy

It manifests mainly in the morning with blurred vision that usually improves during the day. Over time, affected individuals lose the ability to see details (visual acuity) and also become sensitive to bright lights.

The main symptoms are:

  • Eye pain
  • Ocular sensitivity to light and glare.
  • Blurred vision, at first only in the morning.
  • Seeing coloured ‘halos’ around lights.
