The main lines of research of the Gynecology Service are the following:

Cervical cancer and premalignant lesions

  • Vaccines (prophylactic and therapeutic) for cervical cancer and premalignant lesions

  • Determination of HPV and biomarkers in the diagnosis, prognosis and follow-up of cervical cancer and premalignant lesions

  • Sentinel ganglion for cervical cancer and premalignant lesions

  • PET / CT scan and portable gamma camera in the staging of cervical cancer

  • Sentinel Gangli in Gynecologic Cancer

Ovarian cancer

  • Intraperitoneal chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

  • Prehabilitation in advanced ovarian cancer

Breast pathology
