The new podcast series is part of the PortalCLÍNIC project, the result of the renewed collaboration between the Hospital Clínic, Barcelona and the BBVA Foundation until April 2025. The main objective of this programme is to talk about different diseases and health problems in an educational and understandable format.
The initial programmes in this first season deal with the following diseases and health problems: skin cancer, food allergies, traveller health, strokes, vaccines, diabetes and screen addiction.
The programmes in this new series can be heard on the Internet and on all usual platforms: Ivoox, Spotify, Apple Podcast, Amazon Music and YouTube.
PortalCLÍNIC already has Internet content on diseases, symptoms and health conditions, tests and procedures, healthy living, videos, news and live interviews with professionals and patients on the hospital's YouTube channel. The objective of the project is to help patients, families and the general population manage their concerns about health issues with reliable, quality information, as well as to encourage the public to take an active role in their healthcare.
