Like every year, IDIBAPS organises a scientific photography competition. Personnel at IDIBAPS and other organisations in the Campus Clínic environment are all eligible to take part. The images have been posted online in an album and anyone can “like” their favourite photos. In this seventh edition, 28 photos were submitted, which you can see here.
The 15 pictures that received the most "likes" pass to the next phase, in which a jury will select the 3 winners. You can view the finalist photos here.
The jury is composed of:
- Rosa Rey, Editorial Director at Angle Editorial.
- Salva Ferré, science communicator and co-director of Eduscopi.
- Jordi Lanuza, Head of Communication at IDIBELL.
- Cristina Baus, Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Faculty of Psychology, UB.
- Àgata Fàbregas, education specialist reporter at 3Cat.
- Anna May, Communication Manager at ICMAB.
The winners will be announced at the event held to celebrate St George’s Day (Sant Jordi) on Tuesday, April 23.
Prizes:
- 1st prize: 250-euro token for La Impossible bookshop
- 2nd prize: 150-euro token for La Impossible bookshop
- 3rd prize: 75-euro token for La Impossible bookshop
- Runners-up: An IDIBAPS T-shirt
