Research on Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at the Clínic

  • The minimally invasive surgery programme is one of the main lines of research for the Cardiovascular Surgery Department. Within this line, the department has presented several studies across the entire spectrum of minimally invasive cardiac surgery at national and international conferences.
  • The robotic surgery programme has allowed us to develop our own line of research with the publication of several articles in national and international journals.
  • The department also collaborates with other international centres in multicentre research projects.
  • Finally, several medical students have completed their Final Degree Project within the department's minimally invasive surgery programme.
