Generative artificial intelligence is revolutionizing sectors as diverse as health sciences, thanks to its extraordinary ability to understand and process natural language.
This technology has the potential to transform areas such as healthcare, research, education, and data management, making the vast medical knowledge currently scattered in unstructured text formats accessible and useful.
With the aim of exploring and harnessing all this potential, the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and the Health/AI Program of the Department of Health, with the support of the TIC Salut Social Foundation, Món Clínic Barcelona, and IDIBAPS, are organizing the first GenAI event applied to healthcare in Barcelona, from November 14 to 16. This event will be made possible by the participation of professionals from MIT Critical Data, a global leader in creating technological solutions for health that drives Hackathons around the world.
In a Hackathon format, the event will bring together multidisciplinary teams to tackle practical challenges, offering a real insight into the benefits and risks of generative AI in healthcare settings.
Our aspiration is to make this event an annual benchmark, to promote the development of innovative and sustainable solutions for the healthcare sector.
