Treatment of Umbilical Hernia at the Clínic

Hospital Clínic treats around 50 patients a year with this condition, 90% of them in major outpatient surgery (MOS). In terms of surgical activity, the hospital has extensive experience in the use of retroaponeurotic/retroperitoneal mesh, with more than 500 surgeries performed.

Hospital Clínic is a member of the European Hernia Society (EHS), and regularly participates in intra-hospital training sessions (surgical specialities) and training sessions across Spain (expert speakers at workshops, courses, etc.).
