Research into Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Despite not being able to cure the disease, notable improvements in symptoms, exercise capacity and the quality of life of patients have been seen in recent years, due to the appearance of new drugs with specific action for pulmonary hypertension.  

There are new lines of research of genetic studies and studies at the molecular level, which seek to understand and remedy the mechanisms responsible for the development of the disease.
