Symptoms of Liver Metastases

The liver has a metabolic and filtering function. This function can be maintained using a third of the organ. Thus, initially, no symptoms are apparent.

However, symptoms that may appear include:

  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Abdominal pain which sometimes extends to the right shoulder.
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)
  • Pruritus
  • Asthenia and anorexia
  • Weight loss

This symptom is common for a large number of situations and diseases. Therefore, a specialist medical consultation is essential to establish the diagnosis beyond the clinical symptoms.
