Reading time: 1 min

The Hospital Clínic works on all aspects of infection: clinical (ageing of people with HIV and developing comorbidity), diagnostic (early identification), therapeutic (research for new treatments) and preventive (immunopathology infection studies and vaccine development). Only by optimising this research is real control of the disease feasible. The care provided is coordinated by the AIDS Unit at the Hospital Clínic.
