The HIV virus has adaptation and escape mechanisms to avoid the immune response that are very wide which makes it difficult to obtain preventive and therapeutic vaccines against AIDS. So far none of these vaccines has been obtained but it is very hopeful aim for treating and preventing transmission of the virus.
