Research in Familial Heart Diseases at Clínic
Research on familial heart disease is carried out, for the most part, through the Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer in the Area of Biopathology and respiratory, cardiovascular and renal bioengineering. The groups that develop this research are:
- Arrhythmias, resynchronization and cardiac imaging
- Atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and heart failure
- Cardiac imaging

Collaboration between the Cardiovascular Genetics Centre, the High Court of Justice of Catalonia, the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Catalonia and Hospital Josep Trueta in Girona, Hospital Clínic in Barcelona and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona.
