Folder with a patient's medical history

Clinical History. The initial diagnostic evaluation includes an interview with the patient, and the parents in the case of adolescents. The interview consists of a complete review of the patient history, current symptoms, family history, and other relevant aspects, such as the presence of depression, anxiety, problems with dug taking or certain personality traits. Due to the suspicion of an Eating Disorder, a physical examination is performed, in which measurements are made of weight, height, Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure and heart rate. With a complete history and the initial physical examination, the diagnosis of an Eating Disorder may be established.
