Teaching and Training - Unit of Addictive Behaviors

The aim of the training led by the Addictive Behaviors Unit is to improve the technical and psychotherapeutic skills and knowledge of the professionals who work there. It also includes the training of future professionals.

Degrees

The professionals of the Unit participate in the training of Doctors (MIR), Psychologists (PIR), Nurses (EIR), Specialists in training and Undergraduate students. Internships and End of Degree Work for Psychology students are also coordinated.

Continuing education

The Addictive Behaviors Unit also carries out training activities on smoking, specifically on Mental Health within the scope of the Smoke-Free Hospitals Network.

In addition, it organizes its own weekly continuing education sessions and participates in the continuing education program of the Psychiatry and Psychology Service, through the weekly sessions held by the Service.
