Research project
Monitoring of prosthetic infection with RFA
Title
Usefulness of C-Reactive Protein, Glomerular Sedimentation Rate and D-Dimer, as monitoring markers and predictors of treatment of knee prosthetic infections
Objective
Acute phase reactants in blood (CRP and ESR) and D-dimer can be effective tests in the follow-up and monitoring of prosthetic infection treatment (both acute and chronic) and therefore can predict its evolution (requiring an evaluation and determination of new optimal cut-off values in these circumstances).
