Characterizing neovascular lesions on the macula allows us to predict the response to treatment in patients with AMD

A study coordinated by researchers at the Hospital Clínic-IDIBAPS reveals that characterizing the type of neovascular lesion in the eye of patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) allows us to establish a more accurate prognosis of the patient, predict what their response to treatment will be and personalize the care provided.
