The teaching carried out at the Clínic Institute of Medical and Surgical Specialties covers the specialties of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Otolaryngology, Rheumatology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Physical Medicine. Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Undergraduate and postgraduate
Some professionals from the Institute participate as teachers in the degrees of Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, and Nursing at the University of Barcelona, as well as in the Physiotherapy program at Ramon Llull University (Blanquerna) and UAB (Gimbernat).
In postgraduate training students can participate in master's degrees under the auspices of the University of Barcelona and in Advanced Courses (fellowships). The Institute also conducts training for Residents (MIR), currently hosting residents in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (COT), Otolaryngology (ORL), Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery. There are also residents in Nursing (Occupational Health, Gerontology, and Community Health).
Continuing education
The Institute offers places for informative stays for the education of independent professionals who want training in healthcare services. In addition, there are specialization courses lasting days and advanced courses in various techniques.
