Skin Cancer Prognosis

Skin cancer is one of the cancers with the best prognosis, so long as it is detected at an early stage. The cure rate is around 95%.

People are increasingly aware of the importance of protecting themselves from the sun and monitoring any blemishes on their skin. These preventive measures contribute to an early diagnosis in the initial stages, which increases patient survival rates . Small tumours are easily treated and cured, whereas melanomas in an advanced stage can be fatal.
