Treating Presbyopia

Glasses. If the person does not have any other refractive error and only has presbyopia, glasses are recommended for near vision. Meanwhile, if the person has another refractive error (myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism) that affects distant vision, the use of bifocal or progressive glasses is recommended.  

Eye surgery

Laser surgery or ocular lens implants. At the moment, this is a technique that is still being developed. If the patient has other refractive errors, laser surgery is not recommended. However, multifocal (progressive) intraocular lens implantation is possible. In all cases, a very detailed study must be carried out in the case of eye conditions.
