Concave lens for myopia correction

Prescription glasses or contact lenses. Concave lenses (curving inwards) mean that the focus of the light is moved backwards on the retina, which allows clear vision. 

Eye surgery

Laser surgery. This is generally only used in adults, once the eye has stopped growing. This surgery changes the shape of the cornea (the eye’s main lens) so that the light can focus correctly.
