Research lines of Osteoporosis

Reading time: 1 min

Various studies are currently being carried out with new treatments for osteoporosis, but they are all still in an experimental phase.

Studies in more advanced stages and with more promising results are those focusing on the protein related to the parathyroid hormone (PTHrP) and treatment with anti-sclerostin monoclonal antibodies.

Treatments with PTHrP and anti-sclerostin monoclonal antibodies both have an impact on bone-forming cells (osteoblasts).
