Treating Graves’ Disease at Hospital Clínic

Graves' disease is treated by endocrinology specialists, both in primary care and hospital care settings. Hospital Clínic sees about 40 new cases of GBD and provides follow-up care for a total of about 250 cases. 

Hospital Clínic organises patient outreach events, as well as training talks for primary care doctors within the hospital's catchment area and for internal medicine specialists at the hospital. In addition, the Endocrinology and Nutrition Service at Hospital Clínic actively participates in the relevant societies both in Catalonia (Societat Catalana d'Endocrinologia i Nutrició; SCEN) and Spain (Sociedad Española de Endocrinología y Nutrición; SEEN).
