The main causes of Graves' disease are determined by genetic and environmental factors, including: 

Intense psychological stress

Stress. 

Bacteria of the intestinal microbiota in a petri dish

Infection. 

Pregnant woman

Recent pregnancy. 

Family tree

History of thyroid disease, especially maternal thyroid disease.

Products containing iodine. Shrimp, milk and vegetable

Sudden increase in iodine intake.

Smoking is considered a minor risk factor for GBD. However, it is considered an important factor in the development of ophthalmopathy.
