Living with Constipation

In order to prevent complications and avoid the symptoms associated with constipation, a healthy lifestyle is recommended: 

Bottled water

Drink between 1.5-2 litres of water a day.

Do physical exercise. 

Fruit and vegetables providing fibre, kiwi, broccoli and bananas

Follow a diet rich in fruit and vegetables. 

Person in the toilet for a long time due to constipation

Adopt a schedule for bowel movements. 

Doctors

Avoid the use of laxatives unless medically indicated.
