Treatment of Chronic Urticaria at Hospital Clínic

Hospital Clínic’s Allergology department has a high-complexity consultation unit where diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of spontaneous and inducible chronic urticaria is conducted.  

There are patients continuing active treatment with Omalizumab and various patients included in phase III clinical trials (Ligelizumab) and phase IIb. 

Some of the allergy specialists are members of the skin allergy committee at the Spanish Society for Allergies and Clinical Immunology (SEAIC).  

Likewise, allergology and primary care specialists are taught through continuing education courses.
