Chagas is transmitted to human beings through:

The faeces of kissing bugs, also called vinchuca, chinche, barbeiro, pito, chicha guazú, and more. This type of transmission can only occur in traditionally endemic countries. 

Other possible forms of transmission are: 

Pregnant woman

From mother to child during pregnancy. 

Woman with vaginal bleeding in bed with blood transfusion

Blood transfusions from infected donors. 

Renal transplantation

Organ transplants from infected donors. 

Glass of water

Ingesting food and especially drinks contaminated by the parasite (in traditionally endemic countries).
