Research into aortic aneurysms at Hospital Clínic

Reading time: 1 min

Hospital Clínic is involved in numerous lines of research, including studies on in vitro models for parallel stenting techniques, analysis of the seasonal and climatic patterns of aneurysm rupture, and studies into the populational impact of health management policies.

We also belong to numerous international registries related to the development and monitoring of new devices, both for endovascular surgery (new stents, endovascular fixation or anchoring systems, special stents with branches) and conventional operations (decellularised human tissue grafts).

As a centre, Hospital Clínic produces the highest number of scientific papers and articles on this disease in Spain, with numerous publications in specialised journals and books by leading international scientific societies (e.g., ESVS and EACTS).
