Treating self-harm cases

To treat self-harming, psychotherapy is usually needed in order to work on the following points:

Intense psychological stress

Detect and correct triggers: situations of abuse or abuse, a psychiatric illness, and so on.

Identify and accept different emotions as part of the normal life cycle.

In some cases, it may be useful to add a pharmacological treatment to control associated symptoms such as anxietydepression or psychosis.
