Jet lag symptoms

There are many symptoms of jet lag, and they may present in a different way for each person, or on each trip.

The most common include:  

Person with insomnia

Changes to sleep: broken sleep, drowsiness during the day, difficulty getting to sleep (typical when flying towards the east) or waking up early (after flights towards the west).

Difficulty concentrating, fatigue, headache, reduced physical and mental performance. 

Increase in irritability

Changes in mood such as irritability, anxiety or sadness. 

Closed stomach, lack of appetite and anorexia

Digestive disorders and loss of appetite
