A time zone is one of the 24 areas into which the Earth is divided by a meridian, and which follows the same time schedule.

It also happens to people who live in countries that have daylight saving hours and change the clocks in summer and winter.

Jet lag is a disorder that results from the rapid change of time zone, which leads to maladjustment between the person’s daily rhythm and the time of day in the new time zone. It tends to appear in trips that cross three or more time zones.
