We still do not have markers that facilitate the diagnosis or treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME), which are often not very effective. This makes it a chronic and persistent disease that affects the quality of life of those who suffer from it. We will review current events related to its epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment, and lines of research.
