ToolBox. IDIBAPS Talk Series: Publishing in open access: choices, requirements and challenges
IDIBAPS is organising a new session of the Toolbox IDIBAPS Talks Series. This is a series of talks that is promoted by Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) which is being implemented at the institute and that will deal with different questions of general interest from the research community such as open science, scientific publications or gender equality, among many others.
On Wednesday 27th October 2021, at 3 p.m., within the context of International Open Access Week 2021, there will be a session held on 'Publishing in Open Access: choices, requirements, and challenges' with the participation of Ignasi Labastida, Special Delegate to the Rector of Open Science at the University of Barcelona.
The activity is organised with the support of the Department of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia and is directed mainly at all the members of the IDIBAPS-FCRB research community, but it is also open to other researchers from research organisations.
It is an event of a hybrid nature and prior registration is compulsory. All those people registered will receive a personal link to connect with the session from a single device and, at the same time, those people who wish will be able to enjoy the session in person. This will take place at the Auditori Esteve at the Centre Esther Koplowitz. Participants will enter by order of arrival until the maximum capacity is reached. Currently, the room where the session will be held has reduced capacity due to respecting the measures established for the Covid-19 pandemic.
The deadline for registering is the actual day of the session.
