Open day at the scientific platforms of the UB Campus Clínic and IDIBAPS

The Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona (CCiTUB) and IDIBAPS are organizing an open house event showcasing their scientific platforms. It will take place on Thursday, November 16th in the afternoon. From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, there will be a presentation of the highly specialized equipment available at both institutions and the services they offer. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, guided tours of the facilities will be conducted.

Visits to IDIBAPS will be in Catalan and English.

The activity is aimed at researchers from both the Campus Clínic (UB, IDIBAPS, Hospital Clínic Barcelona, IIBB-CSIC, ISGlobal, etc.) and other institutions. 

The open day will focus on the following platforms: 

• CCiTUB advanced optical microscopy lab 
• CCiTUB electronic microscopy (TEM/SEM) 
• CCiTUB (Bio) Molecular Analysis Lab 
• IDIBAPS Cytometry and cell sorting facility 
• IDIBAPS Biobank 
• IDIBAPS Functional genomics platform 
• IDIBAPS Medical statistics platform 
• IDIBAPS Magnetic resonance imaging platform
