Dr. F. Valldeoriola graduated as MD by the University of Barcelona in 1988 and specialized in Neurology at the Hospital de Barcelona in 1995. He further received international training at the Centre Hospitalier Grenoble (France), the Emory University, Atlanta (USA), and the Northwestern Hospital Toronto (Canada). In 2003, he obtained his doctoral degree by University of Barcelona (cum laude, doctoral extraordinary award). Currently, he is the Head of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Unit at Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, where he is specialized staff in deep brain stimulation and movement disorders; and also as Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Barcelona.
