Integrative molecular and radiologic imaging profiling of prostate and renal tumors
Directed by Antonio Alcaraz
Our research focuses on associating radiologic imaging features with genetic and molecular information to determine biomarkers for prostate cancer and renal cell carcinoma. In addition, by using artificial intelligence, we aim to develop advanced tools that may improve the early diagnosis and follow up of these diseases, as well as to assist in stratifying patients based on the individual risk of tumor progression.

Diagnostic, prognostic, and treatment response biomarkers in urothelial carcinoma
Directed by Lourdes Mengual
We focus on identifying accurate and reliable diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers that can be translated into clinical practice. Our research involves analyzing tissue samples, as well as liquid biopsy specimens (mainly urine and blood) from patients, using advanced genomic and transcriptomic methodologies. Ultimately, our goal is to improve clinical management and oncological outcomes for patients with urothelial tumors.
