Clinical Pharmacology Service

The Clinical Pharmacology Service of the Hospital Clínic is part of the Medicine Area. It is made up of a multidisciplinary team of 33 professionals specialized in optimizing the effectiveness and safety of medicines, both in the research and development phase and during use in routine healthcare practice. To achieve this global objective, the Service combines several lines of teaching, care and research support activities:

a) Clinical Trials Unit (Clinical Trials Unit, CTU)

b) Medical Statistics

c) Pharmacovigilance Technical Committee (CT-FV)

d) Ethics Committee for Research with Medicines (CEIm)
