About me
Joan Clària is the group leader of the Inflammation and Liver Disease group at IDIBAPS. He is a clinical biochemist specialist by training at the Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics Service of the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and Professor at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Barcelona. He performed post-doctoral studies at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (1993-1996) and appointed as visiting professor at the University of North Carolina (2001), The Jackson Laboratory (2007) and Harvard Institutes of Medicine (2010-2011). He is currently associate editor at Frontiers in Inflammation and Frontiers in Immunology.
