About me
Cèlia Painous graduated in Medicine by University of Barcelona in 2013. She completed her neurology residency training at the Hospital de la Sta. Creu i St. Pau (2014-2018). She also expanded her knowledge in clinical research through the Master’s Degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2016-2020). In 2018 she did 4-months fellowship in Movement disorders with Prof. Bhatia from Queen’s Square Hospital in London. In June 2018 she joined the Movement Disorders Unit of Hospital Clinic as PhD student. she was awarded a Río Hortega grant from the Carlos III Health Institute in 2019. Her PhD, directed by Dr. Compta, tries to identify clinical, biological and neuroimaging biomarkers in atypical parkinsonisms and specifically in progressive sup
