About me
Dr. Ayako Nakaki is a Japanese board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecologist, now perusing her passion as a post-doctoral researcher aiming to improve maternal and their offspring’s life by exploring the mechanism of the interaction between prenatal maternal condition and fetal health.
After working as an OBGYN specialist for 3 years, she joined BCNatal, Fetal Medicine Research Center Barcelona, University of Barcelona, as a predoctoral clinical researcher in the project of IMPACT Barcelona randomized clinical trial (Crovetto JAMA 2021), which aimed to improve the fetal growth through maternal lifestyle interventions without medication.
