About me
Anabel Fernández obtained her PhD in the Biochemistry in 2013 with 10 published manuscripts as first author and as collaborator. During her PhD studies she performed a short stay in the faculty of medicine in King’s College of London.
Nowadays and since 2015 Anabel Fernández is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Liver Vascular Biology Research Group (LVBRG) at IDIBAPS, Barcelona. She is involved in several projects of the group that are focused in the study of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) and microvascular dysfunction in chronic liver diseases (CLD), such as cirrhosis. Moreover, in 2018 she obtained national funding to investigate the role of miRNAs in LSECs capillarization in CLD.
